I love this device. I would suggest getting the outdoor option on the Flir FX and getting a few. This unit has a wide angle of view, commercial grade IR letting you see up to 65 feet at night, and sensors for temperature, humidity, sound and motion. Not only does the Flir let you view these on your smartphone or tablet, but it also has a “Rapid Recap” feature to show you all the activity it recorded in a few moments. Seriously, with a couple of these Flir FX Security Cameras covering your outside perimeter, and the Canary on the inside, you are set.
